Auction Reports
Auction Reports: (important: Tax needing to be collected is only accurate in the reports after all invoices have been automatically emailed after all auction lots end. Prebid auction is the exception since no invoices are sent out.)
There are several reports that can be generated for viewing online, download to your computer, and/or printing out of Auction results.
The reports are:
- Consignor Settlement - This report shows detail information about every item this consignor sold in a particular auction. It also shows the commission paid to the auctioneer plus any other extra fees charged by the auctioneer NOT by the website. This is the type of report that most consignor's might expect to receive along with their payment for items sold.
- Settlement Summary - A Report showing the bottom line summary for all consignors in a particular auction. Gives the auctioneer a "bottom line" type of an informational report.
- Buyer Summary - This report shows in detail which buyer purchased what item in a particular auction and gives you a percentage of just how much they purchased in the auction. IT will print out as a separate page for each buyer which makes it a handy sheet for picking lots to put together for a quick pickup.
- Auction Overview - This report is a summarized "bottom line" type of a report that also shows how much sales tax was collected on taxed vs. non taxed lots.
- Not Sold - This report shows by consignor identifier unsold lots in the auction, starting bid from description, and quantity.
- Absentee Bid Report(Bidders) - This report contains detailed information about the bidders and what lots they bid on in a Prebid auction. It does not show up for selection in a non Prebid auction.
- Absentee Bid Report(Auctioneer) - This report focuses on the Prebid lot information as to # of bids and such. NOTE: The bidder #'s are an internally generated number by the software and will not necessarily match what you assign to the live event. It does not show up for selection in a non Prebid auction.
- Bidder History Report - This report will show you the high bidder (if there is one) on a lot whether it has a reserve or not. If present it will also contain at least 2 of the back bidders information, again if there were back bidders on the lot. This report will help if the high bidder is a no show. You can use the back bidder information to contact them.
- Unique Bidders - This report displays basic contact information,
number of bids placed by individual and a total number of ALL bidders in
your auction whether they won a lot or not.
Any of the above reports can be selected by using the drop down menus. You can view the information on line, print the report out directly to your printer by using your browsers print/print preview features (usually found under the file option), and/or download it to your computer as a PDF file to be kept for your business records (highly recommended since auction information is generally only kept online via the website for 90 days due to storage constraints).
